Depression affects 3 out of 10 people at some stage of their lives and so this website was created to help you with information on overcoming depression, anxiety and generally to improve the quality of life.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy is regarded as the best treatment for depression and anxiety and so everything I share on this site is based on these principles. Actually learning these tools doesn’t only help with depression and anxiety, but also with many other aspects of life such as overcoming perfectionism and anger.
As regards religion, Cognitive Behavior Therapy is a search for truth in our thoughts and I haven’t found any religion where this is opposed. I am a committed Christian so nothing you read here will contradict what you find in the Bible.
I have run groups to teach these principles and each time, people comment that these tools are not only for people with depression but they can help anyone lead a fuller life. I totally agree as I use all these principles myself.
I wish you well on your life journey towards a fuller, less stressful life.
